Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how AI Checker Hub ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you visit aicheckerhub.com, use our reliability monitoring pages, submit information through our contact form, or interact with analytics and advertising tools.
AI Checker Hub is an independent monitoring and educational website focused on AI API status, incident analysis, troubleshooting, and reliability guides. We do not provide an account-based product for end users at this time, but we do process technical usage data necessary to secure and operate the site.
Contents
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Automatically Collected Technical Data
When you access our website, servers and edge infrastructure may automatically process limited technical data such as:
- IP address and approximate geographic region (city/country level)
- Browser type, browser version, operating system, and device category
- Referrer URL, requested URL, and timestamp of requests
- HTTP status codes, latency timing, and basic diagnostics logs
- User agent string and security-related request metadata
We use this data to protect service availability, detect abuse, troubleshoot reliability issues, and improve page performance. We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal categories through standard page visits.
1.2 Information You Submit Directly
If you use the Contact page, you may submit:
- Name
- Email address
- Message content (including technical details you choose to provide)
Please do not include unnecessary sensitive personal data in contact messages. If you share diagnostic logs, remove secrets (tokens, passwords, full API keys, or private customer identifiers) before submission.
1.3 Tool and Page Interaction Data
Some pages include interactive features (for example, search/filter controls, calculators, and detector tools). We may process:
- Interaction events (button clicks, filter usage, share actions)
- Aggregated usage metrics (page engagement, feature usage frequency)
- Client-side performance data for quality monitoring
For the AI Content Detector and similar tools, text you paste is processed to provide on-page analysis. We do not use submitted text to build user profiles or sell data. We may retain limited operational logs for abuse prevention and debugging unless deletion is requested and legally permissible.
2. How We Use Information
We use information for legitimate operational and business purposes, including:
- Operating and securing the website
- Responding to support, privacy, and partnership requests
- Improving user experience, accessibility, and page reliability
- Measuring aggregate traffic trends and content usefulness
- Diagnosing incidents and maintaining status-monitoring quality
- Displaying advertising and measuring ad effectiveness (when enabled)
We do not sell personal information in exchange for money. We do not use personal data to make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects about you.
Where applicable, our processing bases may include legitimate interest (site security, reliability monitoring, and operational diagnostics), consent (certain cookie and marketing contexts), and legal compliance obligations.
4. Third-Party Services
We use third-party services to deliver and operate AI Checker Hub. These providers may process data under their own policies:
- Google Analytics: Privacy Policy
- Google AdSense / Google Advertising: Data Use Disclosure
- Cloudflare (hosting/edge infrastructure): Privacy Policy
Third-party providers act as independent controllers or processors depending on context. We encourage you to review each provider's policy for details about retention, transfers, and user controls.
We do not control third-party policy updates. If provider terms change, updated handling rules apply according to the provider's own legal documentation.
5. Data Retention
Retention periods depend on data type and operational necessity:
- Security and diagnostics logs: retained for limited operational windows, then rotated or deleted.
- Contact submissions: retained as needed to resolve requests, document communication, and meet legal obligations.
- Analytics aggregates: retained according to configured analytics settings and provider controls.
- Cookie/local storage data: retained until expiration, deletion, or browser clearing by user action.
We aim to minimize retention where possible. You may request deletion of personal information associated with your direct submissions, subject to legal, security, or fraud-prevention exceptions.
6. Your Privacy Rights (GDPR/CCPA)
Depending on your location, you may have rights including:
- Right to know what personal information is processed
- Right to request correction of inaccurate information
- Right to request deletion (subject to exceptions)
- Right to object to or restrict certain processing
- Right to data portability for submitted personal information
- Right to opt out of sale or sharing where applicable by law
- Right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising privacy rights
To submit a rights request, contact us at privacy@aicheckerhub.com or use the Contact page. We may request verification details before fulfilling requests to protect account and data security.
Authorized agents may submit requests where local law allows. If we cannot verify request authority, we may ask for additional documentation before acting. You may also appeal a denied request by replying with clarifying evidence and reference details.
7. Children's Privacy
AI Checker Hub is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted personal data, contact us so we can review and delete that information where required.
8. International Data Transfers
Our infrastructure and service providers may process data in multiple jurisdictions, including regions outside your country of residence. Where required, we rely on appropriate transfer mechanisms and contractual safeguards to protect personal data during cross-border processing.
Depending on provider architecture, request metadata may transit through distributed edge networks for performance and security. These pathways are controlled by provider security controls and encrypted transport policies.
Additional Regional Disclosures
If you are a California resident, you may have rights to know categories of personal information collected, request deletion subject to legal exceptions, and opt out of certain sharing contexts where applicable.
If you are located in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you may have rights under applicable data protection laws, including access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, and supervisory authority complaint rights where relevant.
We limit disclosure to service providers and operational partners necessary for hosting, analytics, delivery, security, and communication response. We do not knowingly process sensitive categories for credit, insurance, employment, housing, or similar high-stakes automated profiling.
9. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and loss. Measures include access controls, transport encryption, and operational monitoring.
No internet-based system is completely secure. You should also protect your own devices and avoid sending secrets or highly sensitive information through general contact forms.
If a security incident materially affects personal data under our control, we will investigate, take mitigation action, and provide notice where required by law and operationally feasible.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy periodically to reflect legal, technical, and business changes. Material updates will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the site after policy updates means you acknowledge the revised policy.
